These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the InukshukNote free social entertainment platform. Please read them carefully before using the site. By accessing InukshukNote, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in full.
InukshukNote is a free social entertainment platform featuring a browser-based, simulated five-column symbol machine. All credits displayed or awarded on this platform are virtual tokens with absolutely no monetary value. They cannot be transferred, redeemed, sold, exchanged, or converted into cash, gifts, prizes, or any other real-world benefit of any kind, either now or at any time in the future.
InukshukNote does not accept deposits of any kind. No payment processing, billing, or financial transaction of any description takes place through this platform. There are no subscription fees, in-app purchases, pay-to-win mechanics, or premium tiers. Accessing and playing InukshukNote is entirely free, and it will remain so.
Every play you take, every virtual credit you accumulate or spend, and every outcome displayed on screen is purely simulated entertainment. Outcomes on the columns are generated by a client-side pseudo-random algorithm operating entirely within your browser. No server-side playing logic, return-to-player score outcome engine, or financial settlement system is used at any point.
Access to InukshukNote is restricted exclusively to adults who are 18 years of age or older. The simulated round-machine format on this platform is designed for a mature adult audience who can clearly distinguish between simulated entertainment and real-money regulated gaming.
By proceeding past the age-gate confirmation prompt, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. You must not allow any person under 18 to access or use this platform through your device, browser, or network connection.

InukshukNote does not constitute gambling under the Criminal Code of Canada (R.S.C. 1985, c. C-46) or under any provincial legislation including the Gaming Control Act (British Columbia, S.B.C. 2002, c. 14). Three conditions required to establish a legal definition of gambling under Canadian law are absent:
No consideration required. You do not pay anything, stake anything, or commit any asset of value to participate. Access to the game and all virtual credits are entirely free. The absence of consideration means the activity does not meet the legal threshold for gambling under Canadian law.
No prize of monetary value. InukshukNote offers no prizes. Winning a combination of virtual symbols on a payline results in an increase to your virtual credit balance only. That balance has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for anything of value. Without a prize of monetary or exchangeable value, the activity is not a game of chance for gain under Canadian law.
Outcomes have no real-world consequences. The results of any play — whether a win, a near-miss, or a zero-credit outcome — have no effect whatsoever on your finances, your real-world status, or any external system. The platform is a browser-based visual entertainment experience, comparable in legal character to a mobile puzzle or simulation game.
Accordingly, InukshukNote does not hold, and is not required to hold, a gaming licence issued by the British Columbia Draw Corporation, the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch, or any other provincial or federal gaming authority.
By using InukshukNote, you agree to use the platform solely for its intended purpose — personal, non-commercial entertainment. The following are expressly prohibited:
Automated access and bots. You must not use scripts, bots, crawlers, automated click-tools, or any other non-human means to interact with the game engine, generate virtual credits, simulate plays, or scrape platform content. Any such use constitutes a breach of these Terms and may be subject to legal action under applicable Canadian computer-misuse legislation.
Attempting to manipulate game outcomes. You must not attempt to intercept, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise interfere with the client-side game logic, JavaScript files, or pseudo-random number generation process. Any attempt to alter the display of virtual credits through browser-developer tools or third-party software — even if financially inconsequential — violates these Terms.
Commercial exploitation. You must not reproduce, redistribute, sell, licence, mirror, or commercially exploit any portion of the InukshukNote platform, its game engine, visual assets, or content without prior written consent from InukshukNote. Running InukshukNote within an iframe on a third-party site, scraping its content for machine-learning purposes, or incorporating its design into a competing product are all prohibited without explicit authorisation.
Harmful or unlawful use. You must not use this platform in any manner that violates applicable federal or provincial laws, infringes third-party rights, or causes harm to other users or to InukshukNote's systems or reputation. This includes but is not limited to attempting denial-of-service attacks, injecting malicious code, or using this platform to facilitate any fraudulent activity.
All content on the InukshukNote platform — including but not limited to the website design and layout, CSS stylesheets, HTML structure, JavaScript game engine, graphic design elements, brand name, logo, typography selections, colour palette, promotional copy, legal page text, and the overall look and feel of the site — is the proprietary intellectual property of InukshukNote and is protected under Canadian copyright law and applicable international treaties.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view InukshukNote solely for personal entertainment purposes. This licence does not extend to any download, reproduction, redistribution, modification, or commercial use of any platform content.
Third-party attribution. Column symbols displayed within the InukshukNote game engine are sourced from Game-Icons.net and are used under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported (CC-BY 3.0) licence. Credit is provided in the site footer on all pages. Use of these symbols within InukshukNote does not constitute any claim of ownership over those assets. The CC-BY 3.0 licence terms are available at creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0.
Any unauthorised use of InukshukNote intellectual property may constitute copyright infringement and may be pursued through civil and criminal remedies available under Canadian law, including the Copyright Act (R.S.C. 1985, c. C-42).
InukshukNote is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of British Columbia and Canada, InukshukNote disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
No uptime guarantee. InukshukNote does not warrant that the platform will be available continuously, error-free, or free of interruptions. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, server outages, browser incompatibilities, or third-party service disruptions may periodically make the platform temporarily unavailable. We will endeavour to restore service promptly but make no binding commitment regarding downtime duration.
No liability for virtual credit loss. Because virtual credits have absolutely no monetary value, any loss of credits — whether due to game outcomes, a session reset, a browser crash, clearing of local storage, a device failure, or any other cause — carries no compensable value whatsoever and does not give rise to any claim against InukshukNote. InukshukNote shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from or related to any change in your virtual credit balance.
General limitation. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InukshukNote, its operators, employees, and associates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or connected with your use of, or inability to use, this platform — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings — even if InukshukNote has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
InukshukNote does not collect personal account information, require registration, or process financial data. Our approach to data is minimal by design. We use browser cookies and local storage solely to remember your age confirmation and cookie-preference choice across sessions, avoiding repeated prompts. No tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or cross-site identifiers are placed without your explicit acceptance via the cookie consent banner.

By using this platform, you irrevocably submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts for the resolution of any such dispute.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and all remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
InukshukNote reserves the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms of Use at any time at its sole discretion. Changes may be made in response to new legal requirements, platform updates, changes in our operations, or for any other reason we deem appropriate.
When material changes are made to these Terms, InukshukNote will notify users by posting a notice on the InukshukNote homepage for a reasonable period following the update. The date at the bottom of these Terms will be updated whenever the Terms are revised.
Your continued use of InukshukNote after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
